Realhab, Inc. is a state-of-the-art practice featuring a 7,000 square-foot gym onsite to enhance your therapy results. Many of our cardiovascular and pulmonary rehab patients utilize this facility on a regular basis.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is to deliver advanced physical therapy in a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment.

 

Our concern is reflected throughout the office from warm, soft colors to a comfortable, ‘like-home’ center. The reception room has relaxing chairs and current magazines.  The treatment area is spacious with state-of-the-art advanced exercise equipment.

 

More important than the physical aspect of the office is a highly trained and caring staff.  We genuinely care about you and your health.  We want to deliver the best possible care in the most pleasant manner.

MEET THE THERAPY TEAM!

Gayle Reed, PT, MAPT / Owner

Gayle has been practicing in the Ellenton/Parrish, Florida area since 1995. Prior to opening Realhab, Inc., Gayle practiced in New York City. She completed her bachelor of science in physical therapy at Daemen College in Amherst, New York and a master of arts in pathokinesiology from NYU. While teaching physical therapy students and performing the ACCE position at NYU, Gayle was also practicing physical therapy at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, Occupational & Industrial Orthopedic Center in Tribeca, and at PRO Physical Therapy on Park Avenue. Gayle was a full scholarship swimmer for the University of Pittsburgh for her pre-med core. She competed and won awards in the 200/400 IM and backstroke races. She was raised in Rochester, New York, and enjoys physical therapy, boating, fishing, swimming, and tennis.

Tarissa "Tari" Williams, MPT

Graduate of Florida A& M University with Master's in Science in Physical Therapy.  Certified wellness coach, certified in Aquatics Rehabilitation, LSVT ( BIG). Specializing also in Pain Management, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation (includes incontinence, women's health and wellness, sexual health and wellness),  wound care/management and education, Neuro-Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Sports Injury Management, risk assessment, Function Ergonomics and  a FL certification in Dry Needling.

 

Ewa "Eva" Mlynarczyk, MPT

Ewa, born and raised in Poland, holds a Masters in physical therapy. She comes to Realhab after a 20-year career in an outpatient setting of Physical Therapy Clinics in New York. Ewa is a former Cross Country Running Champion of Poland and continues her love for sports as a Certified Sports Injury Specialist. In addition, she holds Certifications in Trigger Point Release techniques, Myofascial Release Therapy, Deep Tissue Neuromuscular Massage Therapy for Pain Release and Injury Prevention, and Professional Cupping Therapy. Ewa holds Physical Therapy Licenses in multiple states, and is fluent in English, Polish, and Spanish.

Janifer Pepe, PT, DPT, MSPT

Jan is a 1995 graduate of Simmons College in Boston, MA with a BS degree in Health Studies. In 1997 she acquired a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. During 2017 she returned to school and completed her doctorate degree with a concentration in geriatric case management from Nova-Southeastern University. Her physical therapy career has taken her from Boston, New York, to finally settle in Florida where she was able to share her knowledge in sports medicine - rehabilitation, orthopedics, neuro, pediatrics and geriatrics. She has advanced trainings and certifications in multiple advanced disciplines such as orthopedic treatments, sports injury management, vestibular rehab, aquatics, LSVT, cardio-pulmonary rehab, neuro rehabilitation, fall prevention. Jan is also a certified personal trainer. During her collegiate years, Jan was a competitive rower  competing nationally and through the National Team ID program. She was a medical certifier for US Rowing for adaptive rowing program and has coached locally. Jan lives in Parrish with her husband and three daughters and is the proud mom of an army officer.
